Weft and Wrap: The Artful Fabric of the Basil Papantoniou Foundation
An Anniversary Exhibition Celebrating 50 Years of Public Service and Creativity

At Maison Faliakos, we are proud to have participated in yet another iconic exhibition homage
to the Hellenic industry of fashion, culture and history. 

Sharing long-standing strong bonds with the Basil Papantoniou Foundation, CCO Chris Petridis and CD Venediktos Adipas together with members of the MF Team attended the opening of the exhibition which features one of the Maison’s iconic Haute Couture Archival piece from the Summer 1997 Collection and on the contemporary wing, two Maison Faliakos pieces from recent collection, brilliantly showcasing the transition from traditional Haute Couture craftsmanship to the meta-era of modernity, fluidity and upcycling.

The exhibition highlights essential parts of this activity through a historical review of the work of the Basil Papantoniou Foundation and its founder and a journey through different aspects of the garment.
